Even celebrities aren’t immune to first day of school emotions. As the weather cools and kids start to head back to their classrooms, parents across social media are sharing sweet back to school posts – including the biggest stars. Famous parents like Jerry Seinfeld, Kelly Ripa, and Mario Lopez are sending their little ones off to school, reveling in all the feelings that come with the territory. Some are even saying goodbye for a longer than just a school day, as kids leave for their freshman year of college.

Red Sox player David Ortiz shared a sweet photo of himself and daughter Alex as she heads to Berklee College of Music in Boston.”Good luck with everything and remember  ‘to be great you have to bring the best out of you everyday'” he wrote to her in the caption.

Kelly Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos are apparently “sobbing” over their daughter Lola starting her college journey. “#tbt 2001 from your christening to college,” the actress and host wrote underneath a photo of the pair celebrating Lola’s christening. “In the blink of an eye. I’m not crying. You’re crying. (Actually Daddy’s sobbing)”.

This Seinfeld family group hug has us in our feelings. Jerry and Jesse Seinfeld recently sent their daughter Sascha to college. “And just like that, they leave the nest,” Jesse captioned the touching photo of the family embracing.

Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte is all grown up, and so is his son. “My handsome boy. So grown up! Ready for his first day of school,” Lochte wrote with a photo of his two-year-old smiling for the camera.

Angelina Jolie has never been more relatable in this clip of her “trying not to cry” as she drops off her son Maddox at Yonsei University in South Korea.

Mario Lopez’s kids look ready to take on the school year in an adorable shot he shared of his kids Gigi and Nico heading off to kindergarten and third grade.

*Sniffles* They just…grow up so fast.
