Pink’s husband, Carey Hart, is responding to criticism after he posted a picture of his young son riding a dirt bike with him during a recent family outing. In the photo shared to Hart’s Instagram Monday, 23-month-old Jameson Moon sits in front of his dad on the motorcycle, gripping the handlebars as they hit the track at Castillo Ranch in California.
Captioned “Jamo has his race face on. Don’t worry parent police, I’m a professional,” along with the hashtag “#BeADadNotAFad,” Hart addressed the inevitable parent shaming before it even began, noting that after over 20 years of professional racing, he knows what he’s doing.
The dad of two also shared photos from the rest of the day, including pictures of wife Pink and daughter Willow Sage, 7. “Awesome day riding motorcycles w/ the family @castillo_ranch. Jamo is dirt bike crazy and got to take him on some fun rides. Willow and mama @pink were charging the track. Love days like this!!!” he wrote.

But that didn’t stop people from attacking the 43-year-old retired motocross racer. When one user questioned why Jameson wasn’t wearing goggles, saying “Nice eye protection for the kid.” Hart responded with a simple, “Move along.”
Others are defending Hart, praising him for being so involved with his kids and introducing them to new things. One follower commented, “Love that you’re making your kids fearless. They’re gonna be able to take on the world! #GoodDad.”
It’s not the first time that Hart has been criticized—in 2013, he was slammed for riding with Willow, who was then two years old. Pink stood up for her husband, tweeting, “If any of u have more experience on a bike than my husband, then I will listen to your opinions on how he should take my daughter for a ride.”
