Former Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge can now add children’s book author to his resume. The 43-year-old recently published Who Here Knows Who Took My Clothes? which is about a naked adult man who is trying to find his clothes after they were stolen.
“Who could be so very unfair and just leave him there with nothing to wear?!” reads the book’s description, adding that it’s “a hilarious adventure to find out who is quite rude and left our dude in the nude.”
The book, produced by DeLonge’s own company, To the Stars, and illustrated by artist Ryan Jones, follows one man’s journey to retrieve his missing clothes. When it was published last November, the first 200 pre-orders even received their own pair of “Instant Underpants.”
What inspired the Angels and Airwaves frontman to write Who Here Knows Who Took My Clothes? According to a tweet by DeLonge, “It’s the simple things that make me laugh. Nudity being one of them.”
Along with the print version of the bizarre book, DeLonge also released an animated version online featuring a voiceover by the rock singer as he reads the rhymes aloud.
And while it’s an interesting topic choice for a children’s book, DeLonge is no stranger to nudity. The dad of two, who previously wrote The Lonely Astronaut, also famously bared it all in the music video for Blink-182’s “What’s My Age Again?“
