Taylor Swift is one of the biggest stars in the world and millions of fans across the globe dream of getting to see the 28-year-old singer-songwriter perform live. But for actors Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, getting to see Taylor Swift in concert was an unforgettable experience for a very specific reason, as their daughter James is featured in “Gorgeous”, a song off of Swift’s latest almost. And when the moment finally arrived, the couple had an undeniably cute reaction when they heard their daughter’s voice on a song by one of the biggest pop stars on the planet as 60,000 people were screaming with absolute excitement.

When the song dropped at the end of 2017, Swift-stans the world round immediately began debating exactly the identity of the child could be heard uttering the word gorgeous at the beginning of the song. Because the internet does conspiracy theories so well, no theory was too outlandish or far-fetched. But, after some serious searching, it was revealed that the kid in question is James, the oldest of Reynolds and Lively’s two children, which was later confirmed by the couple.

Like any Taylor Swift fan in the throes of a full-blown freakout at one of her shows, Lively could be seen recording the whole thing with anticipation as Swift led up to the beginning of the song. On the other hand, Reynolds did seem a tad aloof. But, once the sample hit, they were both inarguably giddy and even Reynolds appeared to be cheering with only a hint of irony in his expression.

Obviously, getting to hear your daughter’s voice on a Taylor Swift song is something most parents won’t experience but when you watch the video, you can see that Reynolds and Lively are just like any parents who are overwhelmed with pride and excitement when their kid does something awesome.
