Bindi Irwin Reminds Us Good News Is Possible With Baby Bump Pic

Remember lighthearted, heartwarming news?

Bindi Irwin is here to remind us that in many places in the world, there are still pockets of enormous joy. Irwin, who has been a public figure and conservationist scene since childhood, following in the footsteps of her late father, Steve Irwin, revealed her pregnancy this year with husband Chandler Powell, and she has given us an update on the course of her pregnancy — alongside some beautiful zoo photos. It’s always nice to hear from the Irwin family and new addition Powell, in the land down under as they work with wildlife, carry on their patriarch’s legacy, and carve out a future of their own.

In a new Instagram, Irwin revealed that she’s about halfway through her pregnancy, a detail she revealed alongside a photo of her, her husband, and a few giraffes. “Baby bump is getting bigger! We’re getting close to the halfway point and I think our Australia Zoo family is excited to meet our daughter next year. Even Forest the giraffe is wondering what’s happening!” she said.

Bindi announced her pregnancy earlier this year before the customary first trimester had passed. Like her most recent Instagram post, her wedding this year to her husband, with no guests due to COVID, her pregnancy announcement, and more, it sometimes feels like Bindi is one of the sole sources of good vibes this year. . Now we can only wonder what she will name her daughter when she arrives. Maybe Stevie? In a world marred by chaos, it’s fun to think about our favorite wid life lovers creating a family and caring for Zoo animals. In another recent post, Bindi gave a shout-out to Robert, her little brother.

“Shoutout to my little brother (who definitely isn’t ‘little’ anymore) for being such an incredible friend. You’re always there for me and I know you will be the best uncle when our baby girl is born. Love you,” she wrote, alongside a photo of them hugging with Chandler, her husband, and her mom, Terri, in the background.
