Amber Rose Says Her Five-Year-Old Swearing Is a “Form of Expression”

The outspoken mom has no problem with her mom using colorful language.

Kids love doing what they’re not supposed to, so naturally, they love swearing from a young age. And while most adults agree that a young kid unexpectedly saying “fuck” or “shit” is hilarious, parents often will ban curse words out of fear of raising a potty mouth. However, model Amber Rose has no problem with her son Sebastian using foul language even if he is just five years old. In fact, she sees it as a way for her young son to properly express his feelings.

“I let my son curse in the house because it’s a form of expression,” she told Us Weekly. “Kids like to curse. I tell him when it’s appropriate and not to say it at school. That’s it.”

While someone will surely object to her parenting stance on swearing, Rose seems to have a pretty thoughtful view on the topic. While she has no real problem with her son dropping the occasional f-bomb to express himself, she also makes sure that her son is not swearing like a sailor when he is at school or in a context that it’s not appropriate.

On the whole, it seems that Rose and Wiz Khalifa, Sebastian’s father, aren’t too concerned about getting judged by online trolls or the parenting police. Recently, Wiz was called out after he posted a photo on Instagram of his son riding the bus on his first day of school, which some people criticized. Wiz responded by saying that his son asked to ride the bus and even if he didn’t, it wasn’t really anyone else’s business.
