If the idea of scheduling sex with your partner seems like a total buzzkill, get over it. That’s the advice of Dr. Janice Epps at the Institute For Advanced Human Sexuality, who says scheduled sex is often the only option for increasingly busy couples. Epps points out that there’s actually value in committing to a regular point in the week or month that works for both of you, since doing so can create the sort of anticipation that used to accompany all your dates in the early days. The health benefits of regular sex are well established at this point, and ultimately the only question that matters is: do you want to be doing the horizontal tango or not? If the answer is yes, it might be time to break out the date book.
