Should You Seek Counseling Before The Baby Arrives?

According to the American Psychological Association, 67 percent of couples say their marital satisfaction falls after having a baby, which is why therapists recommend couples counseling before the baby comes. There’s evidence that it works, as participants in two different programs reported higher satisfaction with their marriages at 1 and 5 years, post-baby, than couples who received no counseling.
