Developed countries that have witnessed a precipitous decline in birthrate are utilizing rather unconventional measures to combat the trend. Most recently, a travel agency has launched “Do It For Denmark!,” a marketing campaign starring a lingerie-clad vixen that urges Danes to take babymaking vacations. By booking with an “ovulation discount” and later proving conception coincided with the “romantic city holiday,” a couple can win three years of free baby supplies and a child-friendly vacation.
You won’t believe what some other countries are doing, like Russia (free refrigerator!), but not the US, because despite our own 24% decline, why waste taxpayer money incentivizing libidos when you can simply remind people that MTV’s The Grind still exists on YouTube?
