Don’t be alarmed at the paddles on the end of the baby’s limbs. Those things will be hands and feet soon. And even though your kid is only about the size of a LEGO-guy head, their brain is developing into distinct regions, including the one that will eventually be the seat of all the teenage sarcasm you’ll have to deal with in 16 years. Don’t think about it.
