Your kid has most of the little human details on lock now. So they’ll be cute as hell when they arrive. They also weigh about 5 pounds at this point. Things that also weigh 5 pounds include: chihuahuas, table lamps, a 2-liter bottle of soda, a 12-cup coffee maker and a standard bag of potatoes.

Your Partner: Is carrying a bag of potatoes in her abdomen (basically). The doc will likely want to check on your bag of potatoes every week until delivery.
