CrossFit might seem like it’s for alpha dog triathletes and gym sadists, but it’s actually built on a training philosophy that’s directly applicable to guys with limited time: intervals. Doing bodyweight or kettlebell exercises for intense bursts with short breaks in between are proven to be more efficient at burning calories, toning muscle and improving cardio fitness than standard weightlifting or cardio workouts, and a little goes a long way.
