These James Bond Watches Cost $6,500 Bucks and Are Worth Every Moneypenny

You can maybe possibly still get one.

MGM/United Artists

If you had a choice between buying a $6000 car and getting a slick James Bond watch from Omega, we all know you should choose the car, but in your heart of hearts, you want to get the watch. If you’re living the James Bond fantasy properly, it goes way beyond shaken not stirred martinis, and a talent for murder. True Bond fans know the score: It’s all about having nice things. Make that the nicest of nice things. And wearing them with panache. Case in point is the OMEGA James Bond watch.

Only 7,007 watches like this were made.

Now, Omega created 7,007 of the Bond watches. But if you are a real 007 aficionado, one watch won’t do. That’s why OMEGA released a Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond limited edition set. Only 257 sets were made, and include two watches (one yellow gold, one steel) inside a Globe-Trotter suitcase. Here are the details from OMEGA. Each set retails for a mere $42,100.00. Read on.

The recent release of OMEGA’s Seamaster Diver 300M Limited Edition has proven to be an instant hit with 007 fans and watch collectors around the world. Now, to add even more choice to the collection, the brand has launched a special Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond Limited Edition Set. Just 257 of the sets have been created, comprised of two unique watches inside a Globe-Trotter™ suitcase, which has been bound by black and grey NATO-inspired straps. The first timepiece features a stainless steel case and black rubber strap. On the side of the case is an 18K yellow gold plate engraved with each Limited Edition number, while the bezel is black ceramic with a white enamel diving scale.

The watches also somewhat commemorative of the 1969 release of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service; if you hold the watches up to the light, a secret “50” is etched into the watch faces in celebration of that anniversary.

We’re not saying you need these watches, but certainly, you should want them. There’s just one catch. Right now, even though they’ve only been on sale for a week, this set of James Bond watches is somehow sold out. Here’s how to get on the waiting list for when they surface again.
