Fatherly, the essential lifestyle guide for young parents, has an immediate opening for an Assistant Editor Intern. Fatherly has already generated over 1B video views this year and we are looking for new team members who are committed to growing together.
The internship requires a commitment of 20 hours per week in-person at our Tribeca, New York location, for a term of 3 months. This is an unpaid internship, but with the possibility for stipend in the future.
Who You Are
Fatherly seeks a budding editor with excellent organizational skills to assist our growing editorial and branded video team. The candidate should be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro CC and interested in short form digital content.
What You Will Do
Your internship will involve assisting staff editors in their daily duties, including but not not limited to:
– Execute assemble edits for staff editor.
– Organize projects and footage.
– Archive and manage video assets.
– Research and obtain licenses footage.
– Develop and manage editing templates.
– Prepare output package for social media posting.
