Branded Content Video Producer

The Role:

Fatherly seeks a highly-creative Branded Content Video Producer with sharp project management skills to oversee the development, production and post production of branded video content. This candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in digital video, with at least 1 year of full-time staff experience at a branded content studio or related role within a media organization. The candidate will have jurisdiction over all aspects of campaign production timelines, from development, budgeting, and production coordinating, to directing video shoots and supervising post production.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Fatherly products and audience to inform our video strategy for branded content
  • Concept development
  • Manage production timelines
  • Direct video shoots
  • Supervise post production
  • Create mood boards, storyboards and visual treatments for client approval
  • Handle all research, logistics and bookings for video shoots
  • Maintain accurate accounting of all project expenditures
  • Vet cost and feasibility of video pitches during RFP phase
  • Video editing as needed
  • Camera operation as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, freelancers, and talent

What You Have:

  • Minimum of 1 full year staff employment at editorial property
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a “predator” for digital platforms
  • Experience managing multiple production timelines at once
  • Proficiency editing in the Adobe Suite
  • Strong visual storytelling abilities
  • Client facing communication experience or ready for the task
